This summer, Lionel Messi made history by winning the League’s Cup with Inter Miami FC, making it his 44th trophy.

Messi is now the most decorated player in football history, which means he won the most championship trophies ever. This is also Inter Miami’s first Soccer League Cup.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has a monumental cabinet of trophies that includes;

10 La Liga titles, four Champions League wins, seven Copa Del Reys, eight Spanish Super Cups, three FIFA Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups, the FIFA World Cup, the Finalissima, the Copa America, an Olympic Gold, a U20 World Cup, two Ligue 1 titles and one Trophée de Champions.

Messi’s U.S. Move in an Apple TV+ Documentary

Around the same time in August, Apple TV+ announced celebrating the astonishing career of Lionel Messi with never-seen-before footage.

From his career with the Argentina national team, and his five FIFA World Cup appearances – including his triumphant FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 win – to his stateside move to play for Major League Soccer and Inter Miami CF, the docuseries is honoring the legendary football player with six episodes of behind-the-scenes accounts.

The docuseries is yet to receive a title. However, it is executive produced by Emmy Award winners Tim Pastore and Matt Renner. And Emmy and Tony Award winners Patrick Milling Smith and Brian Carmody.
