Prayers for Peace in The Holy Land Across Egypt’s Churches

Catholic churches in Egypt, especially those in Upper Egypt, organized prayer meetings for peace in the Holy Land and the world.

Bishops led the prayers in these churches. For example, Bishop Daniel Lotfy led prayers at the Church of the Mother of Divine Love in Assiut, and Bishop Mark William, the Bishop of the Coptic Catholic Diocese of al-Quseya, led prayers at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Quseya.

The worshipers held prayers and an hour of prostration.

Meanwhile, Muslims performed prayers in absentia on the souls of Palestinian victims in Rafah Egypt in solidarity with victims of yesterday’s Gaza Hospital bombing.
