Poor Things
December 8th
Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, Poor Things brings together an interestingly unique cast that includes Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, and Ramy Youssef. Bizarre, right?
However, it is not the only odd thing about the movie. The trailer reveals some striking eccentric visuals. Poor Things tells the story of a young woman brought back to life by an unorthodox scientist. She runs off with a lawyer on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, she grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation.
